About The Position

The APP functioning within OBED in the hospital setting works in collaboration with and is an integral part of the Obstetrical team. The APP on service will manage patients registered with OBED. Candidate should have a stronger Labor and Delivery foundation in evidence based practice and education. The APP should demonstrate and advanced level of knowledge, clinical and technical competencies and sound clinical judgement.

Requirements

Prior Labor and Delivery experience required
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tennessee Registered Nurse licensure; national certification as Nurse Practitioner.
