About The Position

Seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider for Pre-Admission Testing at UH Tripoint with the opportunity for additional PRN shifts at UH Lake West and Beachwood Medical Center. Minimum PRN requirements: three 8 hour shifts of availability in a 6 week period. Prior experience in settings with comprehensive health assessments preferred. Must have at least 1 year of APP experience to be considered. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
1+ years as a Physician Assistant Required
1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner Required
Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
Physician Assistant (PA) (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required)
Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire)
Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required)
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required)
Current APRN License (Required)
