The Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC), a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Cellular Therapy and Blood Cancers Inpatient clinic. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant serves as a key clinical provider within a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team, working in close collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and support staff. This role involves the comprehensive management of patients with hematologic malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes, many of whom are undergoing intensive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapies. Responsibilities include performing detailed patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, managing treatment related toxicities, performing bedside procedures (LPs and bone marrow biopsies), and coordinating care throughout the inpatient stay. The APP plays a critical role in clinical decision making, patient education, and ensuring continuity of care in a high acuity environment. Scheduled Hours: variable 12° shifts including weekends and holidays. · Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of cellular therapy & blood cancer including bone marrow biopsies and lumbar puncture procedural experience · New grads with prior nursing experience or who completed applicable clinical rotation may be considered
