About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to provide a combination of Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care or Family Medicine and join our team located in Northwest Indiana. The ideal candidate will have experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care or Family Medicine. Candidate will have ACLS/BLS certifications and will be able to see all patient types. Must be certified/willing to become certified to conduct US Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME). Ideal candidate should be proficient in: Reading basic x-rays of all body parts Laceration repair/wound care Initial ECG interpretation Willing to obtain DOT certification Urgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients and the appropriate transport of these patients to the closest Emergency Room Department Clinic Hours: 4- 10hr shifts (Monday– Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) Flexible full-time schedule No Call Expectation Average outpatient volume: 30+ patients per shift, depending on season Common Procedures: Exposures Lacerations Musculoskeletal injuries Pre-employment, DOT, and Non-DOT physicals Sprain and Strains Suturing, willing to learn On-site Equipment: EKG POCT On-site Radiology Exams Franciscan Health is a non-profit health care ministry with primary and specialty care physician groups located throughout Indiana and Illinois. Requirements

  • Master's Degree - Required
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Nice To Haves
