Requirements

• Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active New Jersey License
• American Heart Association BLS and CDS/DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.
• Consults with other members of the health care team to strengthen nursing practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
• Engages in clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
• Serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
