About The Position

Are you looking for a new opportunity as an APP? Are you looking for a challenge but want the support of a great team? Look no further, because this is the job for you. Sentara is partnering with VirtuCare, a team of exceptional urologists to build a comprehensive urology service line. You will complete a urology training program and be paired with a remote, board-certified urologist from day one. This is not the typical physician - APP relationship. You will have direct access to the urologist before, during, and after the clinic. He/she will teach and guide you to become the face of urology at Sentara. Surgeons will travel on-site to perform surgical procedures so patients will have comprehensive care. This Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider will join our brand-new Urology practice in Elizabeth City, NC. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and serving a rural, underserved population of patients. Position Highlights: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, no evenings or weekends No call requirements at this time Position is all outpatient and must be able to practice independently

Requirements

Active NP or PA
Master’s level degree

Nice To Haves

Experience preferred, but new grads with a background in urology are welcome
