About The Position

This Surgery position will have a broadened service coverage to include Urology, ENT and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Requirements

• Masters - Nurse Practitioner (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• NJ Physician Assistant License.
• NJ-APN & RN License or NJ PA License.
• AHA BLS certification.
• APN - Acute Care certification.
