About The Position
OSF HealthCare is seeking a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine physician to join our busy urgent care practice. This well-established practice is experiencing growth in its patient base and operates with a model that includes a combination of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and physicians, with two providers staffing each location daily. The prompt care clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, with 12-hour shifts and weekend and holiday rotations among three office locations. A typical schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, with opportunities for additional shifts available for those interested. This position offers an excellent work/life balance, as there is no call, no after-hours work, and no follow-up required. The primary responsibility will be to cover two 12-hour shifts at the Ottawa South Prompt Care per pay period, with additional hours flexibly distributed across the Mendota and Streator Prompt Care sites based on market needs, including peak periods, staff absences, and seasonal demand. Specific schedules will be coordinated with the Hiring Manager, Dr. Syed Zaidi, and Operations Manager, Cari Bedeker.
