About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Prompt Care is a vital role within a busy urgent care practice, focusing on delivering high-quality care to a growing patient base. This position involves working alongside physicians in a collaborative environment, with a typical schedule of three twelve-hour shifts per week, and opportunities for additional shifts. The role emphasizes work-life balance, with no on-call duties or after-hours responsibilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in urgent care or a related field is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations across multiple office locations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
