About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assumes responsibility for advanced practice provider within their scope of practice in a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, the APP strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provider will serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• Gastroenterology experience is highly preferred.
• Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.
• New Jersey License: APN and RN or PA required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Certification: NCCPA required.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen nursing practice and promote positive patient outcomes in consultation with other health care team members.
