About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, the APP strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Requirements

• Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.
• New Jersey License: APN and RN or PA.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Certification: NCCPA.
