About The Position
Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, is seeking an Advance Practice Provider to join our growing Primary Care team in the new Rush Primary Virtual First Clinic launched in January 2024. We are seeking a passionate Advanced Practice Provider to help build the primary care clinic of the future. Virtual First Clinic will aim to recreate the experience all of us hope to have in healthcare by simplifying accessibility to quality healthcare and strengthening the provider-patient relationship. In this model, Rush faculty will deliver convenient and compassionate care for each patient using a technology-augmented, team-based approach. Our collective mission is to improve population health, enhance the patient experience, reduce unnecessary healthcare costs, improve clinical staff experience, and decrease health inequities. The ideal team member is process-oriented, compassionate/empathetic, innovative, and has experience working in team-based models. Qualified applicants must be licensed physician assistants (PA) or advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) in IL, and possess a demonstrated history of professionalism, team building, and providing excellent clinical care.
