About The Position

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join their coordinated team approach to rehabilitation. The section provides musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation services with a multidisciplinary team. This position is 100% outpatient and will focus on musculoskeletal and general rehab, working at both the main practice in downtown Seattle and the Lynnwood clinic. The approach includes interdisciplinary care with in-house PT, OT, speech therapy, nursing, and rehabilitation and pain psychology. Teaching and research opportunities are available, and a good sense of humor is a plus.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required.
• Advanced background in nursing; understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Certification by specialty area and work experience in specialty area may be required.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington (if applying as PA).
