Be committed to delivering exceptional comprehensive care with an emphasis on patient involvement in preventive care and treatment planning for patients ages 18 and up. full-time position 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday competitive compensation and benefits malpractice coverage
Requirements
- Physician Assistant: Completion of accredited PA program
- Nurse Practitioner: Completion of accredited NP program; Master's degree in Nursing
- 2 or more years related healthcare experience and/or training
- Physician Assistant: Current NC medical license; certified by the NCCPA
- Nurse Practitioner: Current NC Board of Nursing RN and NP license; certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram and laboratory tests; interpret test results for deviations from normal
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care; manage infection
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes and assist in provision of continuity of care
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living and health maintenance
