Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our Outpatient Lymphoma Team at MSK Commack in Long Island, NY as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with lymphoma! Role Overview: In this role, you'll deliver top-tier, comprehensive care while supporting our skilled proceduralist team with bone marrow aspirations, biopsies, lumbar punctures, and ommaya reservoir taps. Work alongside an exceptional team dedicated to excellence in outpatient care, providing compassionate and expert treatment to our patients.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- A minimum of 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience is preferred
- Experience with bone marrow biopsy, lumbar punctures, and ommaya are helpful
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
- Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- Related National NP certification
- A minimum of 1 year of outpatient or inpatient Malignant Hematology experience is preferred
- Experience with bone marrow biopsy, lumbar punctures, and ommaya are helpful
- Proven ability to make timely and effective decisions that drive organizational success and keep operations moving forward.
- Skilled at working effectively in environments with complex and sometimes conflicting information, maintaining focus and clarity.
- Adept at organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.

- Capable of independently managing clinic operations while effectively coordinating with physicians to provide comprehensive care for outpatient lymphoma patients, including meeting their medical needs and contributing to patient education and clinical support initiatives.
