Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in our Urgent Care Center (UCC) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)! Role Overview: In this role, you'll provide expert care to patients experiencing oncologic emergencies and support those transitioning to our short-stay Observation Unit. Requirements

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • A Minimum of 2+ years of clinical RN or NP experience
  • Related National NP certification
  • BLS/ ACLS certification
  • Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred
  • OR Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Previous Emergency Dept, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Oncology experience preferred
  • Proven ability to make timely and effective decisions that drive the organization forward.
  • Skilled at navigating and working effectively in environments with sophisticated and sometimes conflicting information.
  • Adept at planning and prioritizing tasks to meet commitments that align with organizational goals.
  • Effective at gaining support and commitment from others by engaging them with your perspective and priorities.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in approach and demeanor, adapting to evolving circumstances and shifting demands.
