Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs. Carroll is expanding their advanced-practice provider coverage, and looking for compassionate, hard-working, flexible individuals to join our walk-in primary care group of advanced practice providers. Applicants will be joining a fast-paced program and will be responsible for ambulatory care for patients of all age ranges. Specifically, our Express Care department is seeking to add a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to its team. The provider in this role will work to the top of competency providing comprehensive care for patient age six months and up. All candidates must be graduates of an accredited program to be considered. The ideal candidate will have ambulatory experience, preferably in primary care and would be comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities throughout the day including providing patient care, performing procedures and working with a team to meet the patients immediate care needs as we as facilitate follow up care. On occasion based on staffing, floating to cover other ambulatory care departments or locations will be required to facilitate access to patient care. The standard hours for this role vary by location and need. Evenings, weekends, holidays and call may be required for the role. We are considering qualified new graduate advanced practice Providers and providing a rigorous onboarding and mentoring program to ensure success in the role. Preferred qualifications: 1 year advanced practice experience. Nurse Practitioners should have a family certification.
