About The Position

Ascension is looking for an APRN or PA for our Lake Asbury - Primary Care Clinic. This is a Full Time opportunity with Benefits in an established, busy clinic that seeks an experienced provider to deliver full spectrum Family Medicine. The position involves obtaining patient history and performing assessments via observation, interview, and examination. The provider will order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies, perform preventative health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and patient care. Additionally, the role includes providing direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources, as well as counseling and educating patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources. Documentation of healthcare delivery and nursing processes must be in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.

Responsibilities
