About The Position

Ascension Seton is looking for a Family Practice APRN or PA for Ascension Seton Cedar Park. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients of all ages located in Cedar Park, TX. The position involves shared patient panel with patients ranging from newborn to seniors. The schedule is Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 2pm, with a rotating call schedule. The practice consists of 2 physicians and 1 NP, utilizing the Athena EMR system.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies.
• Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
