Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs. Elyria Internal Medicine is expanding with their advanced-practice provider coverage, and looking for compassionate, hard-working individuals to join our large group of advanced-practice providers. Applicants will be joining a fast-paced program and will be responsible for ambulatory care for adult patients. The internal medicine department is ready to add a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to its team. The provider in this role will work to the top of competency providing holistic care to adults in internal medicine. All candidates must be graduates of an accredited program to be considered. The ideal candidate has ambulatory experience, preferably in internal medicine and should be comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities throughout the day including patient care, procedures and working with a team to accomplish team care. On occasion based on staffing, floating to cover other primary care departments or locations may be required to facilitate access to patient care. The standard hours for this role vary by location and need. Weekends, holidays, and call may be required for the role. Preferred qualifications: 1 year advanced practice experience in primary care. Nurse Practitioners should have a family or adult certification.
