The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist) will join the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute's Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology, specializing in the care of patients with Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma. This role provides comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists. The APP will be responsible for the evaluation and management of patients across the continuum of care - including rounding with attendings and other team members, initial consultations, treatment planning, active therapy, follow-up, and survivorship. Clinical responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and managing treatment-related toxicities. The provider will also participate in performing bone marrow biopsies, patient and family education, and coordination of care. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week (no call, occasional weekend and holiday coverage), supporting work-life balance while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical acumen in hematologic malignancies, exceptional communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth in an academic oncology environment. Please note: for APRN's AOCNP Certification in Hematology Oncology will be required within the first two years of hire.
