About The Position

Ascension Via Christi is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team here in Wichita, Kansas. Position Responsibilities: Join an amazing Cardiac Surgery team! Endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred. Surgical experience is highly preferred. Surgical schedule that does allow for some flexibility dependent upon cases. Documents delivery of health care and processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network policy.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Orthopedic Physician Assistant preferred.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
