The department plays a critical role in addressing the growing demand for pediatric behavioral health services across the region, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations. The Pediatric Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents with a range of behavioral health conditions. This role supports timely access to specialty mental health care through direct patient care, coordination with families and community partners, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
