UVA Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its Gynecologic Oncology team at UVA Medical Center. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a leading academic medical center alongside a collaborative team of physicians, APPs, and oncology specialists dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The APP hired for this position will participate in the full spectrum of gynecologic oncology and benign gynecology surgical care, including: Providing inpatient care for gynecologic oncology and gynecologic patients, including pre- and post-operative management. Conducting emergency room (ER) consults for gynecologic oncology and benign gynecology patients. Supporting multidisciplinary coordination of patient care in collaboration with the attending gynecologic oncologists and other team members. Following a comprehensive 2-4 month onboarding period (depending on experience), the APP will function with growing autonomy, supported by a close-knit team that values both independence and collaboration.
