Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing (for NP) or a relevant PA program.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in clinic settings, including urgent care and survivorship consultations.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow up on patient progress.
• Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and survivorship plans.
• Serve as a resource for infusion nurses, assisting with patient management and care coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient treatment and follow-up cares.
• Float to cover other clinics as needed, providing flexibility in patient care across locations.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and promptly.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
