Requirements

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• 1 year of work experience Required
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient evaluations, follow-ups, and pre-/post-operative visits for adult neurosurgery patients
• Perform comprehensive health assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, medications, and recovery expectations
• Participate in care coordination with the multidisciplinary team
