About The Position

OSF HealthCare is looking for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to serve in Galesburg, IL at St. Mary Medical Center! Join a group of 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. Will work in conjunction with the OBGYN's and FM OB's but will function independently. Will work in the hospital responsible for rounding and assisting with post delivery care. Shifts are 24 hours in house, equating to 10 shifts/month and 122 shifts/calendar year.

Requirements

• Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics.
• BLS/ALS Certified.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
• New graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
• Work independently while collaborating with OBGYN's and FM OB's.
• Round and assist with post delivery care in the hospital.
