About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider I - OBGYN at Summa Health Medical Group is responsible for developing and advancing the quality of advanced practice through specialized direct patient care, leadership, consultation, education, and research. This role focuses on improving processes of care for patients and ensuring quality patient care by utilizing established standards of care for the specified department. The position involves coordination of services with physicians, care managers, social workers, patient care coordinators, therapists, and other community agencies as appropriate. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or call coverage required. The position is entirely outpatient with no surgical components.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program or a Master's Degree in Nursing with completion of Advanced Practice program.
• Current license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse or physician assistant in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum one year experience as an advanced practice provider preferred.
• BLS certification.
