We are a rapidly expanding team of physicians and advanced practice providers committed to clinical quality improvement and ensuring patients receive the highest quality care at an affordable cost. The Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will play a critical role in the management of hospitalized patients, with a primary focus on those on general medicine floors and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The APP will work collaboratively with attending physicians, Tele-Critical Care, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to adult patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are accountable for the provision of patient care at the top of licensure, within their scope of practice. They are licensed, credentialed, and privileged to perform various duties, including conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams. The APP will also maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practice standards. In addition to direct patient care, the APP will participate in ongoing professional development, engage in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to hospital committees and meetings as required. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement, making it essential for the APP to stay current with advancements in critical care and internal medicine.
