Opportunity to join one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. Faculty and staff of the Genitourinary Medical Oncology department are dedicated to the treatment, research, and prevention of genitourinary cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testes, and penis. With a clearer understanding of the biologic behavior of genes, molecules, and cells that are responsible for the formation and growth of these tumors, we have been able to develop treatments tailored to the individual patient. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider. The schedule is Monday - Friday in outpatient setting (no weekends). The primary purpose of the Advanced Practice Provider position is to function in an expanded role, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, clergy, etc. to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Care is delivered to oncology patients in ambulatory and hospital settings including special care units, operating room and diagnostic and treatment centers. Patients with a medical diagnosis of cancer receiving treatments of surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biotherapy, as well as therapies for concomitant illnesses/symptoms are served.
