About this role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant on the Surgical Subspecialties team you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide care in the emergency department, ICU and other inpatient units, as well as first assist in surgeries in the operating room as time permits. You will primarily work with adult patients and train and work across multiple surgical subspecialties including otolaryngology, oral maxillofacial, hand, plastics, and urology surgery. You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center located in Murray, Utah You will work independently, with the benefit of being part of a larger team of extraordinary and skilled providers. Your hours will be variable with rotating dayshift (0700-1900), night shift (1900-0700), and weekend requirements. Requirements

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • AANP or AAPA certification
  • Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS, ACLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Nice To Haves

  • Previous surgical and hospital experience strongly preferred
