We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join one of the nation’s most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,400 providers in Indianapolis, IN. This opportunity is located at our Center for Advanced Heartcare at Community Hospital South. Highlights Community Physician Network in Indianapolis, part of Community Health Network, has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work alongside our Cardiology team located at Community Hospital South. This Advanced Practice Provider will work within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on delivering the best quality care to our patients. Must possess the ability to independently evaluate 8-12 patients a day and handle stressful situations Outpatient opportunity Must have excellent communication, critical thinking, and planning skills No weekends or call commitments required Licensure & Certification Educational background consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana. Experience Cardiology experience preferred, but not required Must successfully complete a nationally recognized Advanced Practice Nurse certification examination or have current national certification; must maintain certification on an ongoing basis. Must be eligible for prescriptive authority under the criteria outlined by the Indiana State Board of Nursing; must maintain eligibility for prescriptive authority on an ongoing basis.
