Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• Gastroenterology experience is preferred.
• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• NJ-Advanced Practice Nurse & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant license required.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a clinical specialty.
• In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthen nursing practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients.
• Provide staff and patient education.
• Engage in research activities.
• Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
