About The Position

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Gastroenterology Clinic in Port Warwick, Virginia. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a specialized team dedicated to improving the lives of patients through high-quality, collaborative care. The role is clinic-based with 100% outpatient care, scheduled from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:20 PM. The focus areas include pre- and post-care for endoscopy patients (colonoscopy and EGD), with a concentration on inflammatory bowel disease and related GI conditions. The environment is collaborative, working alongside 3 full-time GI physicians, 2 in-office APPs, and 1 hospital-based APP who assists in the clinic weekly. There is no on-call schedule, allowing for a work-life balance.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Experience in gastroenterology or related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with endoscopy procedures.
• Familiarity with inflammatory bowel disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-care for endoscopy patients, including colonoscopy and EGD.
