About The Position
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their growing Gastroenterology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, patient-focused group while enjoying a balanced schedule and supportive work environment. Highlights of the role include a Monday-Friday 9a-5p schedule with no call requirements, a single-site role at the Olympia Fields, IL clinic, a collaborative team environment working alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff, and state-of-the-art facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
- EMR proficiency
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology outpatient medicine
- experience with Epic
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
- Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage outpatient follow-up visits.
- Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
