About The Position
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
- EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology outpatient medicine
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
- Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manageoutpatient follow-up visits.
- Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
