Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient Family Medicine practice. Perform complete history and physical exams for 20-22 pediatric, adult, and older adult patients per day. Full-time hours varying from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m, on call 7-8x per year. Opportunity to adopt small patient panel with room to grow. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, infections, arthritis, anxiety, depression etc.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • 1 year of work experience Required
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role Upon Hire Required
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete history and physical exams for 20-22 patients per day
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, infections, arthritis, anxiety, and depression
  • Participate in on-call duties 7-8 times per year
  • Adopt a small patient panel with room to grow
