About The Position

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics team in Winston-Salem, NC. This position involves working with children and families to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for developmental and behavioral concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and a passion for improving the lives of children with developmental challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience in pediatrics, particularly in developmental and behavioral health, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Experience with telehealth services.
• Familiarity with community resources for children with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with developmental and behavioral concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education and support to families regarding developmental milestones and behavioral management strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
