About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) position in Cranial Neurology at NCH Hospital involves providing comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribing treatments under established protocols for the management of acute and chronic illnesses. The role requires working autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams, contributing positively to safety outcomes and promoting high-quality patient experiences. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with hours from Monday to Friday and rotating weekends, including call duties on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
• Completion of Master's level program in specialty area.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Prior APN/PA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive health assessments and differential diagnosis.
• Prescribe treatments under protocol for acute and chronic illness management.
• Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings.
