About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an experienced Non-Invasive Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to meet the growing demand for cardiology located at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Munster in Munster, Indiana. The candidate will be joining a steady, well-established and expanding cardiac group with excellent mentors and experienced cardiologists. Ideal candidate will have cardiac and stress test experience. Candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment and be team-oriented. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Candidate will also have desire to develop strong ties with patients and the community in which they serve. Time will be split between clinic and inpatient rounding Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Stress test experience preferred No call expectation Inpatient rounding Average outpatient volume: 18 - 20 Average inpatient rounding volume: 10 – 18 per day Common Diagnosis: Chest Pain Shortness of breath Coronary Artery Disease Peripheral Artery Disease Atrial Fibrillation Hypertension Heart failure Franciscan Health is a non-profit health care ministry with primary and specialty care physician groups located throughout Indiana and Illinois. Requirements

• Master's Degree Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification – Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Nice To Haves

• Ideal candidate will have cardiac and stress test experience.
• Stress test experience preferred
