We are seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our multidisciplinary team in the care of cardiac surgery and cardiology patients. This APP provides direct patient care and assumes primary responsibility for clinical management across ambulatory, cardiac catheterization lab, and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive clinical care to cardiac surgery and cardiology patients in ambulatory clinics, the cardiac cath lab, and inpatient units. Obtain detailed patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and tests. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Prescribe medications in accordance with institutional and state guidelines. Participate in case management and ensure seamless transitions of care. Collaborate closely with attending physicians, specialists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Contribute to departmental and organizational quality improvement and performance initiatives. Support education and research efforts involving patients, families, and the healthcare team.
