About this role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Bariatric Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will add specifics here: (Add more info on position here – inpatient/outpatient, how many patients per day, what type of cases, how many beds in unit, etc.) This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $7,500 in relocation assistance You will practice at the Denver Midtown Weight Loss Clinic and have privileges at Saint Joseph Hospital , is a 365-bed facility and one of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, CO Your hours will be Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends You will see approximately 13-14 patients per day for H&Ps, follow ups, and assisting with new consults, follow-up management and elevate to surgeon as appropriate Triage incoming referrals to include pre-charting and discern with provider the patient should see and timing of appointment You will have first assist opportunities in the OR 2 times per week How we'll support you: We care about your well-being, which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. Requirements

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Unrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado or able to obtain
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a PA in a bariatric and/or surgical setting. Please no new grads.
  • Minimum of 1 year of first assist experience
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities
