About The Position

VillageMD is currently seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team-based primary care practices near Glendale, AZ! We’re looking for providers who share our passion for excellence and enthusiasm to drive positive change while serving all ages in our community. This position is a PRN, float role to support the Village Medical practices in the West Valley. Travel to various Village Medical locations will be required. (The locations of the practices can include but are not limited to: Glendale, Vistancia, Cave Creek, Peoria, Sun City West, Surprise, Litchfield Park, Avondale, and Goodyear, AZ).

Requirements

• Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited advanced practice program.
• Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients.
• Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure.
• Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
• Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Village Medical practices in the West Valley.
• Travel to various Village Medical locations as required.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct health history and physical assessments of patients/families.
• Collaborate with cross-trained care management and population health teams.
