About The Position

MUSC Health Primary Care - Camden Medical Pavilion is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our thriving outpatient clinic in Camden, South Carolina. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or APRN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• DHEC and DEA licenses.
• Minimum of 2 years of family medicine experience as a PA or FNP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients through comprehensive history taking and physical examinations.
• Evaluates and treats patients based on history, physical examination, and diagnostic test results.
• Initiates referrals to other healthcare providers and consults with attending or collaborating physicians.
• Documents and bills for direct care provided.
• Utilizes current research and evidence-based decision-making in clinical practice.
• Participates in quality/performance improvement activities and clinical research.
• Supports accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities of the organization.
• Participates in professional organizations and continuing education.
• Potential to precept students enrolled as advanced practice provider students.
