Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license.
  • Masters Degree from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in treating allergy patients.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions.
  • Administer and manage immunotherapy and other relevant treatments.
  • Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including allergists, immunologists, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Adapt to the dynamic needs of the practice as we transition from a focus on dermatology to encompass allergy, asthma, and immunology.
