The position provides advanced practice health care services, including documentation of services, collaboration with colleagues and the clinical director, supervision of assigned support staff, participation in quality assurance activities, and a commitment to quality health care. The role requires working independently within the full scope of practice in compliance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act, performing individualized history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, diagnosing diseases, developing comprehensive care plans, prescribing treatments, and facilitating patient transitions within health care services. The position also involves timely documentation of services and adherence to internal controls and licensure requirements.
