Requirements

  • Experience in addiction as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred.
  • Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Active New Jersey License.
  • American Heart Association BLS and CDS/DEA certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education.
  • Consults with other members of the health care team to strengthen advanced medical care practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Engages in clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
  • Serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
