About The Position
Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for Pediatric Neurology Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Division of Child Neurology at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center and a satellite location which is to be determined. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a flexible schedule and have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, while working in a collaborative environment that is engaging and supportive.
Responsibilities
- performing thorough history and physical examinations
- ordering, and reviewing results of laboratory and radiology studies
- prescribing, and renewing medications
- developing and appropriately adjusting treatment plans
- providing counseling and education to patients and families about neurological diseases and medications
- triage and respond to patient and family phone calls
- maintain ongoing communication with collaborating physicians
- participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
