About The Position

The Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) provides professional primary and specialty healthcare services within a vascular clinic setting. Working collaboratively with the Clinical Director and interdisciplinary team, the NP delivers patient-centered care for individuals with vascular conditions, including venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and peripheral artery disease.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current RN and NP licensure with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in vascular, surgical, or interventional radiology settings.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong procedural skills and familiarity with venous ultrasound.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in EMR systems; Epic preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as: Vascular access, Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, Microsurgical phlebectomy, Conservative therapy evaluations
• Educate patients on disease management, procedural expectations, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Communicate effectively with referring providers and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in clinic development, outreach, and educational events.
• Provide backup support for minor procedures (e.g., thyroid biopsy, PICC line placement).
• Monitor clinic workflow and staffing needs proactively.
