Overview Schedule: Outpatient, Mon-Fri: 8-4:30pm. Work at ACC South Bay clinic as needed. Ability to do telehealth visits. Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Senior Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers expert, patient-centered care and serves as a clinical resource and mentor for other APPs. In addition to advanced clinical responsibilities, the Senior APP contributes to quality improvement initiatives, precepting, and enhancing team collaboration to optimize care delivery across the healthcare continuum. APP patient coverage may require, regularly scheduled days and occasional weekends. Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of pediatric patient care principles and ability to provide care accordingly.
  • 3 years of experience within pediatric subspecialty with 8 years of total APP experience.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • PA - Physician Assistant State License or NP - Nurse Practitioner License
  • DEA - Drug Enforcement Administration
  • American Health Association BLS - Basic Life Support & PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NICCU only)
  • (NP) Required: Pediatric Nurse-Practitioner Acute-Care OR DUAL Pediatric Nurse-Practitioner Primary-care Family Nurse-Practitioner (Post-Master's Pediatric Preferred) Neonatal Nurse-Practitioner (NICCU Only)
